1. The Service
ReadMaxxing ("the service") is a reading-training application: you log your reading, take reading assessments, and follow training programs. The service is provided by the ReadMaxxing team ("we", "us").
2. Your Account
You need an account to use the service. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials safe. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the service.
3. Acceptable Use
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4. Your Content
Text you paste or upload for reading stays yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it so the features you use can work. We don't sell your content.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Parts of the service may require a paid subscription ("Pro"). Prices, billing periods, and trial terms are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Subscriptions bought in the iOS app are billed and managed by Apple through your App Store account. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights in your jurisdiction are unaffected.
6. Disclaimers
This app is designed to provide engaging, gamified reading practice and tools for tracking your performance over time. The app may provide exercises and metrics intended to help you practice reading speed, comprehension, and related skills.
Metrics are estimates, not standardized assessments. Words-per-minute measurements, comprehension scores, percentiles, projections, progress indicators, and other results provided by the app are generated using our methods and are intended for informational, motivational, and training purposes only. They may not accurately represent your overall reading ability, comprehension, learning ability, or performance in other settings.
The app is not a medical, psychological, clinical, or educational diagnostic tool and is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or assess any medical, psychological, learning, or educational condition. The app does not provide medical, psychological, or professional educational advice.
Results are not guaranteed. Use of the app does not guarantee that you will read faster, comprehend more, retain more information, improve academic or professional performance, or achieve any particular result. Individual results vary depending on many factors, including the individual, the material being read, practice habits, and other circumstances.
Any projections, goals, forecasts, or estimated future results displayed by the app are illustrative estimates for training and motivational purposes only and should not be understood as predictions or guarantees of future performance.
The app and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability arising out of or relating to the app or these terms will be limited to the amount you paid us for the app or service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law. 7. Termination You can delete your account at any time from Settings; this permanently removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. 8. Changes We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
